Thaitel PC-to-Phone Requirement & Instructions

To make a call, you simply login and dial the telephone number on the calling pad, which is located in your private area. The call will be connected in the same way as your standard telephone call.

System Requirements:

• Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME, NT, XP

• New thaitel PC-to-Phone dialer ( download here )

• A Good headset ( speaker & microphone) is strongly recommended.

• Good internet connection, at least 56 Kbps.

Check speed & quality of your internet connection

1. Click at Start button on the left buttom of your computer screen.

- Click at " run" ( See the picture no. 3-1 )

- type " ping www.thairath.com -t " (See the picture no. 3-2)

2. A new window will pop up and you will see the status of your Internet connection and look at "Time = XXX ms"
( See illustrations below )

3. If the number (XXX) is less then 500 ms, it means your Internet connection is good and you can use Thaitel PC-to-Phone to make a call. If the number is more than 500 it means your Internet connection may be too slow to use Thaitel-PC-2-Phone.

How to make a call

Using the “thaitel” icon

If you don’t want to add your phone book to your account, just dial the number your contact number.

1. Select Country code in the first box. (see the picture no. 1)

2. If you would like to call a Mobile no. 01-2563211. The City code is (1), and type the number as 12563211 in the second box.

3. Click (see the picture no. 3) It may take few seconds to connect your call.

4. If you like to end the call just click on button. (see the picture no. 4)

** If the number that you dialed has an extension number, you must press the extension number on pad only.

Using the Phone Book

First, you need to add your contact list to your account.

1. Press at "ADD" button, put your contact name ( less than 8 alphabets ) and phone number starting with the country code. Press "OK" to finish. ( See illustrations below )

2. Click the name of the person you want to call. Press button to make a call. Or double click at the name on phonebook. It may take few seconds to connect your call. To end the call just click on button. ( See illustrations below )
