FRIENDS OF THE ASIAN ELEPHANT (FAE)
Under the circumstances whereby natural resources are considerably being destroyed and there is no promising sign that such can be immediately contained, multiple conservation groups in an attempt to preserve the natural resources that embrace forests, wildlife and plantations as well as humankind have come into existence.
As soon as forests are destroyed, the number of animals dwelling in natural forests alarmingly declines; in particular, giant-creatured "elephants" which are in serious danger, It takes long for an elephant to be on earth: however, at present a loss of elephants over a short period of time is being experienced. The Founder has accordingly formed "FRIENDS OF THE ASIAN ELEPHANT" (FAE)
FAE’s a foundation registered in 1993. FAE's Foundress has for more than nine years trying to persuade people to try and help Thai elephants and she is happy to say that she is quite pleased that FAE’s ways proposed are now being echoed nationwide although more help is still needed.
Objectives
1. To assist elephants to enjoy improved living conditions and eventually survive and adjust themselves within natural surroundings.
2. To aid professionals related to elephants (raisers, researchers, vets etc.)
3. To gather data on elephants.
4. To publicize data and produce public reports on status of elephants and movements related there to.
5. To undertake for a public cause or to collaborate with other charity organizations.
6. To deal in no way with political affiliations.

In following the King's way of living kindness to the street dogs, the Foundation would like to ask people to give love and warmth to the street dogs by letting the street dogs to be a member of your family. This will also decrease the social problem arising from the stray dogs that are frowned upon by certain people.

Dr. Amporn felt he had to put off retirement and return to his life of helping others to form a new organization called it the Foundation For Rehabilitation & Development of Children and Family, hence, FORDEC. The foundation was formed on Saturday, February 14, 1998, St. Valentine's Day.

Media of Medias Co, Ltd (Corporation) decided to launch the Thai Eye Charity Campaign, "KRONG KRAN NUM JAI THAI HAI DOUNG TA", to provide the medical examination and treatment, and the free optical surgery for the cataract sufferer. The cataract can causes the bilndness but there are about 200,000 patients are left behind from the medical surgery.
